Jorsling doubles-up on Rangers
The trinidad Guardian / Devon Jorsling scored a double on Friday night to give the Defence Force an exciting 3-2 victory over St. Ann's Rangers in the T&T Pro League at the Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva.

Jorsling one of the more prolific goal-scorers in the Pro League ended the contest with 155 goals to his name in the history of the league. He made his strikes on either side of the half to ensure the win.

Jorsling opened the scoring in as early as the second minute of play, when the referee awarded a penalty to Defence Force. He calmly walked up and slotted his first goal of the season.

The teams went into the dressing room at the end of the half with Defence Force leading 1-0. The Army/Navy combination received a shock early in the second half, as Rangers got a double strike within ten minutes of the resumption.

Two minutes after the referee blew his whistle to start the half, Gerald Meloney drove a 30-feet pile into the nets to draw the scores level.

Eight minutes after this strike, Defence Force keeper Sheldon Clarke was left spread eagled, as Kathon St. Hilliare rocketed the far corner of his net to take Rangers into the lead 2-1.

The joy was short-lived for Rangers, as in the 57th minute Jorsling calmly tucked the ball into the net to tie things up at 2-2. Both teams from this point pushed for the win but in the end it was Defence Force's night as they got the winner from Hashim Arcia in the 65th minute.

They kept Rangers at bay after that to claim the valuable points. The win moves Defence Force into 5th position on 12 points

Defence Force 3 (Devon Jorsling 2nd and 57th, Hashim Arcia 65th) vs Rangers 2 (Gerald Meloney 47th, Kathlon St. Hilliare 55th).
