Autopsy details injuries in fatal crash with Venus Williams
MiamiHerald / A medical examiner says a Florida man died from complications of blunt force trauma suffered in a June car crash with tennis star Venus Williams.

Palm Beach County medical examiner, Dr. Michael Bell, said 78-year-old Jerome Barson suffered lacerations to his spleen and fractures to his pelvis and spine in the June 9 crash in Palm Beach Gardens.

Barson died 13 days after police say Williams drove into the path of the sedan Barsons' wife was driving. Williams was not injured and has not been cited or charged.

Barson's family has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Williams.
